How much do the tools cost?
Free! We want you to have access to the tools and hope that they lead you to an intentional life.
Do you offer 1:1 coaching?
No. We have found the most effective method to effectively serve families is through the cohort model. But if you have a specific question, feel free to connect with our team here.
This feels overwhelming, how do you make it simple?
We've created a process that includes an annual Summit and a monthly cohort, delivering content at a manageable pace to ensure you can effectively absorb and implement all the tools without feeling overwhelmed. We're here to support you every step of the way!
My spouse is skeptical, can I do it alone?
No. There is a lot of work that happens together to help stay aligned and on the same page. We recommend both spouses be emotionally committed to the Journey. It is very common for one spouse to resonate more than the other. We would be happy to connect with them to better understand their concerns.
Do you offer scholarships?
There is nothing formal in place, but we do not want finances to hold you back from living an intentional life. Email us at info@ourfamilyos.com with why you want to do FamilyOS, any unique circumstances contributing toward your financial situation, and what amount you think you could commit to.
Do you have an app to keep up with all of the tools?
Not yet. It's in the projected roadmap, and we hope to start product development soon.
I noticed ‘Faith’ is a Core Pillar, what does that look like?
The founders are unashamed about their Christian faith and will consistently describe how their faith impacts the rest of their thinking about each core pillar. It will also be normal for them to reference Bible verses, share stories, and pray for participants.
However, they are careful not to prescribe what your faith should look like and the impact it has on each of your Core Pillars. Their goal is to inspire more than impose any beliefs and are sensitive to the unique spiritual journey that we are all on.
How is FOS different from other planning tools out there?
FOS is cohesive in nature and different from other siloed tools.
FOS is not marriage therapy, a financial planner or a small group, but it is a tool where learnings from all of those wonderful tools can come together and be built upon for a clear and consistent plan. It is not a one weekend spent planning nor is it built by one spouse and then shared with the other.
The tools and rhythms are intentional to have time to truly work through each step together. Time to get onto the same page and not rush just to have an answer. It is built to have some flexibility to adjust as needed. Finally the structure is intentional for there to be enough time to build healthy habits in your marriage and for your family.
We found ourselves using great tools, but we were having a lot of different conversations in a lot of different directions. We also would start things, but slowly they would fade out. We needed a cohesive place to streamline everything, that had an intentional foundation and mutually agreed upon why behind our decisions. This firm foundation would flow into all aspects of our life and be beneficial in our relationships. The time and rhythms of the tools have helped us find success in creating the intentional life we hoped for.
This seems like it will take a lot of time. How does spending time on FOS impact your time with your family and others?
Yes, it has taken some intentionality to invest this time to run on the FamilyOS tools, but we have found that it has saved us countless hours because we have the right conversation at the right time with the right context. We hope it saves you time as well.
